The Glesbar Herdname has been in the seed stock industry for over 50 years. Starting out many years ago with Horned Herefords which are still found here, but now the emphasis is on our Red Angus herd. In 2011 we calved 155 cows, 100 Red Angus, 40 Black Angus and 15 Horned Herefords.

At Glesbar the mother cow is the most important part of producing the calves we raise. Wtih the focus on having a proper udder with lots of milk, sound feet and legs, feminity and exceptional temperment to keep a place in our herd.

We encourage buyers and potential buyers to come and take a look at our bull pen. Upon appraisel of pedigree in our Red Angus herd you will find that a majority of females go back to three cow families. Once touring the herd you will be able to find the bulls dams, grand dam, great and great great grand dams, as well as maternal and paternal sisters. We have worked hard to create this longevity in our herd and take great pride in it.
